More Rewards, a member of the GTS ALIVE Group and a market specialist in benefits and reward loyalty programmes in the Czech and Slovak Republics, chose new financial system Infor SunSystems from LLP Czech Republic.
New release of SunSystems 6 – SunSystems 6.3.0 is expected in the second half of this year. We hope to see the following enhancements – New Customer and Supplier portal, SunSystems integration with IDM (Infor Document Management), Performance improvement for Ledger Import function, etc. We will provide more precise information soon and we look forward to showing you the new SunSystems version.
We are pleased to announce the latest release of Infor SunSystems 4. SunSystems 4.4.2 is now generally available for all our customers. This release introduces lots of new and enhanced features:
Great news! You can now send email remittances to suppliers directly from the Bank Payment System. The solution is based on MS Reporting Services and it’s very flexible and easy to implement. Your suppliers will be informed in detail about what’s been included in the payments you’ve sent them. This is especially convenient if you’re using the payment summary option.
There was a time, many years ago, when the future of SunSystems was uncertain, though everything looked wonderfully rosy at the time. Systems Union, the British company who developed the product, was still in friendly private hands, and sales were booming. SunSystems was the best (as it still is) international financial software system on the planet. Those of us whose lives depended on the product were prospering. Actually, Systems Union’s P&L looked good. The problem, the company’s balance sheet, was probably one of inattention. The sails were billowing, the sun was shining. They just didn’t notice the rocks beneath the surface.
SunSystems’ financial modules can adapt themselves to almost any statutory regime, but in some countries implementation is more difficult than in others. Probably none is more difficult than Russia (and all those other countries where Russian accounting standards apply).
I’ve implemented SunSystems dozens of time. In Europe, in North America, in South America and in the Middle East. Not yet in Far East Asia, or Africa, but there’s still time if I hurry. LLP Group is based in Central Europe and so most of my implementations have been in the post-Communist states of the former Soviet bloc. These were not then, and are not now, the easiest places in the world, but they are by no means amongst the worst (except perhaps Russia).
We are pleased to announce the release of Infor Business Intelligence 11.0. This new version can be used in a browser and on certain mobile devices and enables you to create customisable dashboards, generate meaningful reports, and analyse complex data sets from various relational and in-memory data sources. It can serve as the platform for predictive analytics, planning, and budgeting applications. This release is designed to help maximise analytical efficiency for both Infor cloud and on-premise customers by improved integration into the mobile world as well as the Infor ecosystem.
Since LLP Group was founded in 1992 the company has specialised in the deployment of ‘core’ SunSystems designs. Infor’s SunSystems, with its concept of transaction analysis, account analysis (enabling the mapping of local to corporate charts of accounts, or vice versa) and its unified ledger (accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger all in one), is ideal for this purpose.
In the mid-1990s, a few years after I’d started LLP Group, I was asked by one of our international customers to go to Moscow to sort out the mess they’d made of their SunSystems implementation. They were using the system for the purchase of their affiliates’ products, for inventory management, and for sales to their direct customers and distributors all over Russia. And of course they were using SunSystems for both local Russian accounting and for balance sheet, cash flow and P&L reporting to their head office in the USA, in USD.
